In Thursday's league outing, the JW North Huskies (Riverside, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA), by a margin of 61-37.

The Huskies (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Menifee, CA). The Patriots go into the Sunbelt bout with a 10-10 record. In their last bout, Heritage was crushed by Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA), 59-39, in a league bout.

Next up, the Mustangs meet the Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 24. Rancho Verde will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 7-12 record after their 43-26 league loss to Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA).
