The Kaycee Buckaroos (Kaycee, WY) basketball nipped the host Midwest Oilers (Midwest, WY), 2-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Buckaroos (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Upton (Upton, WY). The Bobcats go into the 1A Northeast test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Upton got by Arvada-Clearmont (Clearmont, WY), 64-22, in a league test.
The Oilers now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dubois for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Midwest will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 49-37 league loss to Riverside (Basin, WY). The Rams record now stands at 3-9.
