Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kennedy Memorial Mustangs (Iselin, NJ), 54-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Middlesex upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Dunellen Destroyers (Dunellen, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Kennedy Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Destroyers go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 45-16 league win over Piscataway Vo-Tech (Piscataway, NJ).
