The Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ), 41-28 in Thursday's league test.
The Rangers (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Newton (Newton, NJ). The Braves go into the Northwest Jersey - Freedom test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Newton went down by Vernon (Vernon, NJ), 43-30, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Voorhees for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Kittatinny Regional will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 56-40 league win over The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 8-4.
