The Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) basketball nipped the host Lackawanna Trail Lions (Factoryville, PA), 47-45 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record.
The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Susquehanna for a Lackawanna 4 test on Monday, January 23.
