Nevada High School Basketball - Western ripped by Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Western Warriors to 12 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mojave for a 4A Sky contest on Monday, January 23. Las Vegas will battle a Rattlers team coming off a 42-27 league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-9.

The Warriors (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Desert Shields go into the 4A Sky outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Cheyenne was trounced by Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV), 49-12, in a league outing.
