The Nutley Maroon Raiders basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Livingston Lancers to 27 in the Maroon Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Maroon Raiders now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoboken for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Nutley will meet a Redwings team coming off a 46-36 league win over McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ). The Redwings record now stands at 6-4.
The Lancers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Newark, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Central ran past Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ), 65-26, in a league contest.
