Illinois High School Basketball - Waubonsie Valley can't hold off Naperville Central

The Naperville Central Redhawks basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Waubonsie Valley Warriors to 55 in the Redhawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Redhawks now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oswego East for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Naperville Central will battle a Wolves team coming off a 61-45 league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 5-16.

The Warriors (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Aurora East nudged Elgin (Elgin, IL), 63-19, in a league contest.
