Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE), 48-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Polytech upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE) to play the Riders in a Henlopen - Northern bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Riders come into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Ravens play the Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Sussex Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 51-44 league win over Dover (Dover, DE).
