The Romeo Bulldogs basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the host Utica Chieftains to 31 in the Bulldogs league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avondale for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Romeo will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 65-22 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-9.

The Chieftains (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Grosse Pointe South was nudged by Port Huron (Port Huron, MI), 32-25, in a non-league contest.
