Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting San Rafael Bulldogs (San Rafael, CA), 45-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tamalpais upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Red Tailed Hawks host Redwood (Larkspur, CA) to play the Giants in a Marin County bout on Saturday, January 21. The Giants come into the bout with a record of 12-7. Redwood lost 47-32 in their recent league bout against San Marin (Novato, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons (San Anselmo, CA) in a Marin County bout, on Saturday, January 21. San Rafael will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record.
