St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 77-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Thomas Aquinas upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Old Bridge won 45-43 in their recent league bout against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. South Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 42-40 league win over North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ).
