The Washington School for the Deaf Terriers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Utah School for the Deaf & Blind Eagles to 1 in the Terriers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Terriers now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ). The Roadrunners enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Phoenix Day School for the Deaf was routed by Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ), 38-22, in a league contest.
