The Clarke County Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Page County Panthers to 31 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rockingham for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Clarke County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 40-16 non-league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-2.

The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Madison County (Madison, VA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Madison County was defeated by Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA), 39-28, in a non-league contest.
