Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots (Wilmington, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Greenville Christian Academy Knights (Greenville, NC), 41-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wilmington Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC) to play the Trojans in a bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Bethel Christian Academy lost 19-16 in their recent non-league bout against Community Christian (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the Living Water Christian Warriors (Jacksonville, NC) in a bout, on Monday, January 23. Greenville Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 24-19 league win over Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC).
