Virginia High School Basketball - Rustburg ripped by Liberty Christian

The Liberty Christian Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Rustburg Red Devils to 8 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Liberty Christian will meet a Bees team coming off a 59-10 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Bees record now stands at 2-8.
The Red Devils (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Amherst County was routed by Liberty (Bedford, VA), 45-34, in a non-league contest.
