The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Washingtonville Wizards to 17 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Monroe-Woodbury will battle a Middie Bears team coming off a 44-24 non-league win over Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY). The Middie Bears record now stands at 6-2.

The Wizards (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chester (Chester, NY). The Hambletonians enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record.
