The Pioneer Mustangs soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Branham Bruins to 2 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Mustangs face the Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) in a contest, on Saturday, January 21. Pioneer will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA).
The Bruins now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leland for a contest on Saturday, January 21. Branham will face a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-2.
