The Valor Christian Eagles ice hockey squad scored 3 points and restricted the host Monarch Coyotes to 2 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Valor Christian moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO) to face the Lambkins in a 5A Metro contest on Friday, January 20. The Lambkins go into the contest with a record of 1-7. Fort Collins lost 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against Castle View (Castle Rock, CO)
The Coyotes now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cheyenne Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Monarch will face a Red-Tailed Hawks squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks record now stands at 8-1.
