Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), 60-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Apollo upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hawks host Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Monday, January 23. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Sunrise Mountain won 73-33 in their recent league bout against Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Trojans play the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Paradise Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
