The Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 62-31 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans (7-7) will now prepare for their test against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, East Rutherford walloped Brevard (Brevard, NC), 42-34, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Patton for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Polk County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 50-48 league loss to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.
