Florida High School Basketball - Dixie County over Crystal River

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL) and the visiting Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL), saw Dixie County's basketball squad overcome Crystal River by a tally of 70-52.

With the victory, Dixie County improves its record to 1-12 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Chiefland (Chiefland, FL) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) in a challenge, on Friday, January 20. Crystal River will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 37-36 league win over Central (Brooksville, FL).
