Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA), 39-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Cougars host Enterprise (Redding, CA) to play the Hornets in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Enterprise won 60-50 in their recent league bout against Shasta (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. Red Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 57-33 league win over Chico (Chico, CA).
