The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks basketball team (Charlottesville, VA), dropped 55-42 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA)
The Bishops now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Cross for a battle on Tuesday, January 24. Virginia Episcopal School will battle a Raiders team coming off a 55-15 league win over Carlisle (Axton, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-0.
The Mavericks (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Eagles come into the battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Covenant beat Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA), 55-47, in a league battle.
