University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers face the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) in a Northern Athletic challenge, on Thursday, January 26. University Prep will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record.

The Grizzlies now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Yreka for a Northern Athletic challenge on Tuesday, January 24. Lassen will face a Miners team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Miners record now stands at 4-7.
