Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Nicollet Raiders (Nicollet, MN), 73-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Alden-Conger upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Knights host United South Central (Wells, MN) to play the Rebels in a A Section 2 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 10-4. United South Central won 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against Hayfield (Hayfield, MN)

Next up, the Raiders play the Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Nicollet will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record.
