The Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX) basketball felled the visiting Carlisle Indians (Price, TX), 72-56 in Friday's league test.

The Yellowjackets (16-8) will now prepare for their test against New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX). The Hornets go into the 2A Region III District 22 test with a 4-19 record.

The Indians now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Mt. Enterprise for a 2A Region III District 22 test on Tuesday, January 23. Carlisle will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 65-56 league win over Cushing (Cushing, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-9.
