Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), 54-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Ball upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Friendswood (Friendswood, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 18-9. Friendswood won 69-55 in their recent league bout against La Porte (La Porte, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 bout, on Friday, January 26. Angleton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-17 season record.
