Texas High School Basketball - Richland knocked off by Argyle

The Argyle Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Richland Royals to 33 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colleyville Heritage for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Argyle will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-41 league win over Denton (Denton, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 20-5.
The Royals (4-18) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Falcons enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Lake Dallas was defeated by Ryan (Denton, TX), 59-52, in a league contest.
