Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), 61-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Armuchee upgrades its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Bremen (Bremen, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 0-16. Bremen lost 70-49 in their recent league bout against Ridgeland (Rossville, GA)

Next up, the Dragons play the Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Pepperell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
