USC-MAE Trojans (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Aspire Ollin Jaguars (Huntington Park, CA), 55-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, USC-MAE upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Suns in a Freeway bout on Monday, January 22. The Suns come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Downtown Magnets won 61-37 in their recent league bout against Orthopaedic (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Orthopaedic Vipers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Freeway bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Aspire Ollin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Vipers come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 61-37 league loss to Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA).
