Texas High School Basketball - Austin knocked off by Bowie

The Bowie Bulldogs basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Austin Maroons to 47 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson for a 6A Region IV District 26 contest on Friday, January 26.
The Maroons (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Buda, TX). The Jaguars enter the 6A Region IV District 26 contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Johnson ran past Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX), 74-68, in a league contest.
