In Friday's league outing, the Baker Spartans (Baker, MT) basketball squad edged the visiting Colstrip Colts (Colstrip, MT), by a count of 48-45.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Labre Indian Catholic (Ashland, MT). The Braves go into the B District 3 outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, St. Labre Indian Catholic held off Shepherd (Shepherd, MT), 71-51, in a non-league outing.
The Colts now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Huntley Project for a B District 3 outing on Saturday, January 20. Colstrip will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 77-63 non-league loss to Columbus (Columbus, MT). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-4.
