In Friday's league outing, the Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC) basketball squad edged the visiting Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC), by a count of 60-58.
The Eagles (5-14) will now prepare for their outing against Cross (Cross, SC). The Trojans go into the A Region 8 outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Cross held off St. John's (John's Island, SC), 56-43, in a league outing.
The Bobcats now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Charleston Math & Science for a A Region 8 outing on Monday, January 22. Baptist Hill will clash with a Riptide squad coming off a 66-34 league loss to Burke (Charleston, SC). The Riptide record now stands at 9-8.
