The Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) basketball felled the host Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX), 50-31 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (24-3) will now prepare for their test against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans go into the 5A Region III District 17 test with a 19-8 record. In their last test, Port Arthur Memorial thwarted Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX), 57-53, in a league test.

The Ganders now own a 14-12 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling for a 5A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, January 23. Lee will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 65-50 league loss to Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 6-19.
