The Marblehead Magicians basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Beverly Panthers to 60 in the Magicians league triumph on Friday.
The Magicians now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winthrop for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Marblehead will meet a Vikings team coming off a 59-53 league loss to Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-8.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Saugus (Saugus, MA). The Sachems enter the Northeastern - Small contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Saugus was outscored by Swampscott (Swampscott, MA), 70-56, in a league contest.
