Michigan High School Basketball - Birch Run tipped by Swan Valley

The Swan Valley Vikings basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Birch Run Panthers to 45 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeland for a Tri-Valley - Red contest on Saturday, January 20. Swan Valley will meet a Falcons team coming off a 70-64 league win over Glenn (Bay City, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 10-1.

The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Alma (Alma, MI). The Panthers enter the Tri-Valley - Red contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Alma nudged Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI), 61-53, in a league contest.
