California High School Basketball - Birmingham topples Cleveland

In Friday's league outing, the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA), by a count of 61-44.

The Patriots (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Highlanders go into the West Valley outing with a 13-8 record. In their last outing, Granada Hills Charter defeated Hillcrest Christian (Thousand Oaks, CA), 61-58, in a non-league outing.

The Cavaliers now hold a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chatsworth for a West Valley outing on Monday, January 22. Cleveland will clash with a Chancellors squad coming off a 80-38 league win over Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Chancellors record now stands at 11-11.
