The Bloomfield Christian School Defenders basketball team (Bloomfield Hills, MI), was nudged 34-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Oakdale Academy (Waterford, MI)

The now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn Hills Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 23.

The Defenders (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lakecrest Baptist (Waterford, MI). The come into the non-league battle with a 19-2 record. In their last battle, Lakecrest Baptist edged Community Baptist Christian (Saginaw, MI), 55-42, in a league battle.
