The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Blooming Grove Lions to 32 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eustace for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Scurry-Rosser will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 85-39 league loss to Kemp (Kemp, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-24.

The Lions (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Rice was routed by Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 54-41, in a league contest.
