The Blue Springs South Jaguars basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Blue Springs Wildcats to 48 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Platte County for a Freelance contest on Monday, January 22. Blue Springs South will battle a Pirates team coming off a 64-63 league win over Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 9-6.

The Wildcats (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO). The Panthers enter the Freelance contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Raymore-Peculiar was defeated by Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK), 61-49, in a non-league contest.
