Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ord Chanticleers (Ord, NE), 55-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Boone Central upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Guardian Angels Central Catholic lost 60-51 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE)

Next up, the Chanticleers play the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels (Arcadia, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Ord will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 33-23 league loss to Ravenna (Ravenna, NE).
