Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) and the visiting Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), saw Boyd's basketball squad wallop Valley View by a tally of 59-30.
With the victory, Boyd improves its record to 13-14 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-9.
Next up, the Eagles play the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Valley View will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 63-41 league win over S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX).
