The Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) basketball knocked off the host Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL), 57-43 in Friday's league test.
The Huskies (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Pelham (Pelham, AL). The Panthers go into the 6A Area 8 test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Pelham notched a victory over Springville (Springville, AL), 69-52, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they host Moody for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23.
