With the victory, Cape Fear Academy improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC) to confront the Centurions in a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Centurions come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Coastal Christian won 65-35 in their recent league challenge against Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC)

Next up, the Saints confront the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. John Paul II Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 74-66 league win over Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC).
