Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Islesboro Central Eagles (Islesboro, ME), 54-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carrabec upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Cobras host Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Vinalhaven lost 71-34 in their recent league bout against Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Rangeley Lakes Lakers (Rangeley, ME) in a D South bout, on Saturday, January 20. Islesboro Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 51-35 league loss to Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME).
