The Carthage Bulldogs basketball team (Carthage, TX), was routed 85-53 in Friday's league battle with the host Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center for a 4A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Chapel Hill will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 81-33 league win over Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 14-8.
The Bulldogs (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Panthers come into the 4A Region III District 17 battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Spring Hill was routed by Kilgore (Kilgore, TX), 54-42, in a league battle.
