The MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) basketball nipped the host Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL), 61-56 in Friday's non-league test.

The Generals (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Champaign Central was tipped by Carbondale (Carbondale, IL), 59-50, in a non-league test.
