In Friday's non-league outing, the Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME), by a margin of 57-28.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, Katahdin was trounced by Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME), 51-45, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Lee Academy for a D North outing on Saturday, January 20. Central Aroostook will clash with a Pandas squad coming off a 69-46 league loss to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Pandas record now stands at 2-9.
