Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) and the visiting Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), saw Central Gwinnett's basketball squad knock off Mountain View by a count of 56-37.

With the victory, Central Gwinnett upgrades its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to play the Hawks in a AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Mill Creek lost 60-55 in their recent league challenge against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)

Next up, the Bears play the Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 67-50 league loss to Archer (Lawrenceville, GA).
